In NC anyone may vote absentee ballot without giving a reason. You can request a ballot from the NC Board of Elections site by mailing in this Request Form.
An official ballot will be mailed to you, which you then complete and mail back. The ballot must be postmarked no later than Election Day.
Note: The process (but not the actual vote selection) must be witnessed by two people or notarized by an active Notary Public.
Wendy Raker and Alison Chase are Notaries and are willing to notarize any absentee ballot for our residents upon request. Just contact them when you’re ready to select and sign. Alison Chase: 704-604-1968 Wendy Raker: 704-906-7459
This service is provided free of charge.
